I’m not there yet, my oldest is 7, but I hope my children are comfortable enough with me to talk about this stuff. I would say be honest, guide the conversation but let him lead. Let him know that while he may be too young to have a sexual relationship right now, that your door is always open for questions and support on safe sex when he is ready.
