I can hear my own breath. I am sprinting down the hallway of my school. I think I am running, but it feels strangely different. My legs are languidly darting forwards; numb to the texture of the floor- like those cycling exercises you do with your legs raised in air while you lie down in a reclined position with your hands supporting your head. The world around me is fading, and merging together. I can hear voices… familiar voices in the background.
