It’s a lot like the feeling I used to get when I was a preteen, and I simply knew that so-and-so (whatever teen movie star or singer) would just love me if we could spend an afternoon together. I would put up posters, and imagine the person, have dreams about them, read every magazine I could get my hands that they were in, so I could learn about them until the point where I felt like I “knew” them.
