A few people have reacted with disgust that I would treat everybody like a criminal and posted negative comments about my actions. You must keep in mind that being right-handed, my gun was in a holster on my right side and would be in easy reach of anyone in the right, front seat. Additionally, there was a loaded shotgun in between the front seats of the patrol car.
