There are literally thousands of emotions, but this is the classic "heads God wins tails you lose" of shallow theology. God created the good stuff; everything else is some kind of rounding error. I've got no objection to religion, if it makes you happy (yet another emotion), but I really hate when it's used as an excuse to cease thinking.
