I also tried to 'prep' a guy friend recently, in a similar manner, but he did not listen to any of my advice. He still bought her flowers on the first date, told her he loved her, and he tucked in his damn shirt--while wearing a belt. Not to mention that he did not consider maximizing the positive effect of proper hair, clothing, or shoes etc,. Um, needless to say, he totally bombed that night. I mean, the guy has confidence, but it's misdirected. Like if you're strategy does not work 10 times in a row, then perhaps consider trying something different man!
