I get it, being around someone with cancer is hard. I am battling cancer, and it hasn’t been easy for everyone around me. But if someone who claims to “love” me decides to leave, it will break me apart, push me to the edge of sanity, maybe even make me let go of the desire to keep on fighting. Because my fight isn’t only for me. It is also for the people I love.
