My read of the Israeli attitude is that while they hate Assad for his cruelty and the Syrian regime for having shelled Israeli civilians from the Golan before - they really don’t hate the Syrian people and have no desire to become drawn into this civil war. But if they had a chance to bomb Daesh - who wouldn’t want to do that? - that’d be a different matter altogether. If you’re not Daesh, you’re against them, whatever else is going on.
