Blue yellow white and red Lego spaceman shirt. March 29th was Vietnam Veteran’s Day. Paraphrasing from the Presidential proclamation, 50 years ago in 1962, U.S. Army helicopters airlifted ARVN troops against a VC force near Saigon, and flew into history. As Vietnam Vets, we know all about how much more of that history was written between 1962 and 1975. And we all know that much of that history and many of our stories are intimately linked with the Huey helicopter. Our mission at Liberty War Birds is to restore and FLY as many Vietnam veteran UH-1 helicopters as we can. We want to put those aircraft in front of as many of you as possible.
