I had to re-learn everything: how to make new friends, how to be humble (especially when you don’t know how to speak a language), how to wander and be alone, how to trust myself, my ideas, and my opinions. You will “fail” in front of your new foreign friends. But you will feel free from your peers “judgement” because you can leave or meet new friends at any moment, unlike college or high school.
