Your partner is displaying incredibly selfish and insensitive conduct. I have known conduct like this to actually cause women to miscarry. As Gwen Sawchuk has pointed out you are essentially married, although without the paper contract. In some countries (e.g. the UK) you would be acknowledged as a common-law wife and given appropriate legal rights. Your partner is essentially a married man in his 40s who is behaving like an immature, unattached teenager.
